Terre Haute Ind. Sunday May 22d 1881
The meeting was called to order at the usual hour. Worthy Grand Instructor S. M. Stevens occupied the chair.
The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved. The rules were then suspended and the application of James H. Geary for membership was read. He having been elected at a previous meeting and having forfeited his application by reason of failing to present himself for initiation, the Lodge went into a Committee of the whole and took immediate action on the proposition.
He being favorably reported on the lodge proceeded to ballot on his application. The ballot being favorable he was declared duly elected to become a member of the Lodge. Z. Biletr was declared expelled for non-payt of dues. Mr. Geary and Mr. Dan O'Connell two elected candidates were then admitted to full membership in the Order. Death Claims N
os 32 & 33 were then ordered paid on a basis of $17.
00 each. Grand Instructor Stevens then took the floor and made an earnest appeal in behalf of the Order.
The meeting then adjourned.
