Introduction

Two common problems all students have when writing research papers:

  • keeping track of research notes and sources
  • formatting bibliographies and citations

Citation 9 helps you do both.

It works with your word processing program (Word or WordPerfect) to create and format bibliographic citations, footnotes, reference lists, works cited lists, bibliographies, or whatever documentation you need to provide. It can do this in APA style, MLA style, and many other formats.

This tutorial will briefly tell you how to download Citation 9 and how to use it to take notes, record sources, and insert citations and bibliographies in your papers.
