ISU Student Printing

Student Printing: By logging into your Novell account using your Sycamore ID and Password at the beginning of a computing session, students can print from their allotment on any floor of the Library.  Whichever floor the computer is located is the floor your print job will be sent to be printed.  A Student Allotment Printer is located on each floor near the public computer stations.

Step-by-step Student Allotment Printing:

1) From the startup screen, in the ISU Library Login Box, choose Yes.

2) Login to the Novell box using your Sycamore ID and Password.

3) Watch for the student allotment printing box to display.

You are now logged onto the network.  Your print jobs will automatically be sent to the Student Printer and you will be able to access your network drive space.

FAQ:

Q: I logged onto the network but my print job was sent to the Public Pay Printer?

A: This happens at times when the network is very busy.  Usually, if you click on the Novell Login icon on the desktop, press the YES button, and re-login with your Sycamore ID and Password, this will cure the problem.  You now should be able to print your work to the Student Printer.

Q: How can I find out if I have money left in my Student Allotment?

A: Either click on the cash register icon on any Library Public PC or click on this link and follow the instructions on the OIT print accounting system webpage.
