~General
Resources & Link Pages~
~Electronic Journal,
Publisher, etc. Sites~
Electronic journal sites may be full-text, partial full-text, abstracts/tables
of contents or just information about the publication. When you want journal
articles, it is still best to go to the indexes, do your search, and then
check your citations against your library's local holdings, and use interlibrary
loan to request items your library doesn't have. The main database for
health, physical education and recreation is
Sport
Discus (ISU and many other libraries will have this). For educational
topics, use ERIC
via Ebscohost or the
public site.
There are many other indexes you may need. To see what is available, check
the Database/Subject listings on the ISU Library homepage,
or ask for assistance. Listed here are more general titles; titles
specific to one of the disciplines are listed in the academic department
sections above.
